Tapered sleepmat

Post by BreninBeener »

I have a tapered ME bivvi bag and when i use my rectangular Exped Synmat 7ul, it is slightly too wide at the bottom.

So it pulls the fabric at the top of the bivvi bag down really tight, and this compresses all the down in my bag. This makes it cold.

Can anyone recommend a mat with a taper that is similar?

Have you looked at the Hyperlite and Winterlite?
I think Stu did a review on one of them.
I have a Hyperlite if you want any dimensions but if I was buying I would go for the Winterlite.
Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

I "upgraded" from an Ultralite to a Hyperlite for exactly this reason.

I believe Exped aren't doing tapered mats now so act quick if you want one.
