Whether you plan to see the New Year in from out on the town or from the comfort of your bed ... I hope you have a good one. It's 365 days (and nights) of possibilities, all we have to do is try and make the most of them because once they've passed us by, they don't come round again.

All the best from't Towers.

Comfort of my bed - having just eaten my first meal since Christmas Day, tasted what I imagine eating cardboard tastes like, and hopefully will now start to regain the strength to get up the stairs to bed without having to stop for a rest halfway up!!

All the very best to you and Dee and thanks for everything you've done for us during 2017, have an excellent 2018 :-bd
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Happy New Year everybody. I don't post on here all that often but seldom a day goes by without me checking in to see what pearls of wisdom have been imparted. Thanks everyone for helping to inspire me to get out and do stuff over the last year and all the best for 2018,

Hear, hear!

I want to second the appreciation for maintaining this forum. It's been source of a lot of inspiration, kit ideas, and a couple of 1st and 2nd hand bargains. Also for welcoming a bikepacking n00b so warmly.

Here's to a wicked 2018!

Yes all the best to everyone - let’s hope for a peaceful year with all the ‘stuff’ going on in the world...

It’s the beauty of having that common thread that’s great about this site, and here’s to our noble and inspiring leader.. !

Hoping to get my mojo back a bit in 2018 because it's completely left me in the last four or five months.
