Aaagh! I'm down to a choice of five ... epic landscape: dramatic B&W; chance alignment; daft humour; something else.

Re: 2017 Photo Comp.
At Grand col Ferret on the TdMB. September snow made the ride up entertaining. It wasn’t quiet a whiteout, but definitely unnerving - what was it going to like on the other side of the pass ? The cloud cleared as I arrived at the col. Moments like this are just so remarkable. They happen when you grab a map and have a plan to ride your bike.
sunrise, sunsets, the seasons, time with family and mates: A life well lived.
Re: 2017 Photo Comp.
From one of the very few rides I got in this year. Not that I don't love having a little baby daughter, but it's not been a good year physically or subsequently mentally. It'll change though.

"Whole World to Myself"
The final day of a 31 day, 2600 mile trip from my front door in Manchester to the top of Norway (NordKapp). I had the place all to myself. It was a true selfie, captured in one take. I then went and phoned my wife and had a wee cry - joy and happiness come out in mysterious ways! Lots of better photos taken by far more skilled people in this photo comp but this one holds a special place in my heart.

Well done boysBearbonesnorm wrote:After a very piss-poor turnout of voters, we have a tie in the photo comp. Congratulations to both Jameso and Bob who are joint winners with 4 votes each ... prizes on their way in due course fellas. Well done to everyone who submitted a picture and to the 3 of you who voted
.
Re: 2017 Photo Comp. WINNERS
Sorry, I didn't even see the vote.
Re: 2017 Photo Comp. WINNERS
There was a vote? If it was tacked on to the start of the thread I probably missed it because on the phone at least I normally just open the thread and then click on the first unread post link if there is one otherwise i'll just go back.

Well done!
Yes, I had to go hunting for the thread when I remembered about it. I guess the problem is that voting doesn't bump it up like posting does so it drops into the abyss that is page 2.

No, I stuck it at the top of page 1 with a big heading "VOTE NOW"I guess the problem is that voting doesn't bump it up like posting does so it drops into the abyss that is page 2.
May the bridges you burn light your way
