I don't contribute to the thread, (and if you saw my pics you'd see why) but I really enjoy this thread, especially when stuck in a London office! And the discussion makes me think sbout photo-related things I'd not otherwise consider.

I've just looked back over a few pages of this thread. In the nicest possible way (and I'll be funked if I can be bothered counting so don't be tempted to get all sciencey / STW on meGregMay wrote:[url=https://flic.kr/p/GS5Dmz]
As this is starting to feel like the "photos Greg takes" thread. Unless others pick up on it, I'll probably let this die.
A shame, as I'm sure many of you get to places, do things, and see things far more interesting than I.
Cheers Greg. It's an Oly EM1 mk1 in a Nauticam housing plus strobes. Macro is with Pana-Leica 45mm, which renders really nicely with butter smooth bokeh but isnt as tack sharp as the Oly 60m. The fish soup is Oly 8mm which is sharp corner to corner at nearly any distance in the right conditions. Sadly I dont get enough practice in these conditions (and locations), but I like trying. :)GregMay wrote: Oli - what setup are you using? Strobes? Surprised at that macro shot it's good.
I'm not that good on PS but you are right and I think this one is betterGregMay wrote:John, very good photo. If you can dial down the lower left corner a bit, print it. It's good.
Think scotroutes has said that, for Android at least, there is a separate 3rd party app you can get for getting the BB code from Flickr. Can't remember the name of it though...Gari wrote:Cheers Greg. Will try and post some more stuff later this weekend from Iceland. On the iPad Flickr won’t let you copy the whole BBcobe string?! Thus not being able to paste into a post
Hah, I rarely use colour for my personal photos. Don't see the need :)Bearbonesnorm wrote:Ooh, I'm liking that last one Greg.
Glad to see that after everyone took the piss about my monochrome pictures, it's becoming a more popular style
Keep them coming Greg. I do watch this thread, but probably don't comment much as I don't really have a lot to say. I take a photo a day, often they're a bit crap, and really it's more a snapshot of my life rather than a nice artistic photo (although I think they do happen sometimes.) I might join in occasionally if I take a snap worthy of contribution.GregMay wrote: As this is starting to feel like the "photos Greg takes" thread.
