Not technically a great photo but bought a smile to my face, unlike the hut which looks more shocked

Waiting for film to come back is always exciting Greg! What film is it and what camera's it been through?

Two 120 HP5 that were taken on a 1916 camera in Scotland last year.thenorthwind wrote:Waiting for film to come back is always exciting Greg! What film is it and what camera's it been through?
4 rolls of 35mm HP5 taken on a Cannon Æ 1 P on various trips over the last year.
1 roll of 35mm HP5 taken on a struggling Zenit E (http://www.sovietcams.com/index.php?2101162428)
Two old rolls that I found in a box of my fathers belongings - not holding out much hope as I've no idea how old they are and he's been dead 4 years so they are probably a lot older than that!

Wow, you've been saving that lot up! I'll look forward to seeing the results on here (I'm sure we can we allow creative interpretation of the thread title in sympathy with the process of developing film!).
I have an old Cosmic 35 (British import version of the Soviet Smena 8) and a Hunter 35 but not been out in years. Not shot much film generally, but I did shoot three films of Kodak Portra 400 on a trip to New England in October.

My farther who was into photography passed away 5 years ago and I always hoped I'd come across an undeveloped roll in his stuff, it would be special to see a view that he had seen the day he took it and no one had seen since. Sadly I never found any but hopefully you'll get some back.GregMay wrote:Two old rolls that I found in a box of my fathers belongings - not holding out much hope as I've no idea how old they are and he's been dead 4 years so they are probably a lot older than that!

Thanks, it was one that shouted at me as I rode past, Slammed on the brakes and took just that one. iPhone, a little push of saturation and contrast in-phone edit and that's it.voodoo_simon wrote:^^^
Love that photo Ian Fitz, didnt look much on the old phone but on the proper PC, it's a great shot
I use to shoot a lot and work as a TV camera Op in the late 90's - it still feels a bit like work. So I see a lot of shots but don't shoot a lot of shots anymore really. The odd snap here and there.

It'll hopefully be interesting, or it could be photos of bricks. You never know with what he pointed cameras at. Having fun playing with my grandfathers old medium format camera though, portable enough to take it out up high with no issue. It's one of these.

Seems a shame when you've got an eye for it but mixing work and please is never goodianfitz wrote:I use to shoot a lot and work as a TV camera Op in the late 90's - it still feels a bit like work. So I see a lot of shots but don't shoot a lot of shots anymore really. The odd snap here and there.

Looking through Waverley station roof while waiting for the train, yesterday. Basically sat on a seat and shot while sat down, over the heads of folks in the station, got some odd looks

Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you lik
After 22 years of on the road sales, miles and miles of motorways and far too many nights away in boring travel hotels, with the last 5 or 6 years of my sales career trying harder and harder to win appointments to sell average products to people who are in no mood or have no real need to change supplier, chasing targets, trying to keep the bosses off my back and spending many unhappy hours reporting just to justify my monthly salary. It's now time for a change
After last weeks "redundancy" it's given me the kick in the arse to realise that I need a change, yes I'll be on less money and maybe have to work some weekends but I want to be able to cycle commute, have a stress and pressure free life and start all over again.
I've an interview/chat next Monday where the 2nd in command says after he spoke to his boss "it's as good as your's"
I'm not building my hopes up about it but I have my fingers crossed
A months gardening leave and bike riding awaits.
Sorry... ramble now over
