If this is your first time then paper maps can be a great help.
Dont try and get too technical, it just makes things complicated.
I've never used anything fancy, just bikehike to draw a route.
First of all you'll have the 'shape' of the GR's (one window)
In the other window start to plot out where you may want to go on day one.
How far do you want to ride/supplies?
You'll probably have 8 hours of day light so think about distances.

New route from where you think you may stop Saturday night.
Where are you going for lunch, how far and how long may it take you to get there.
Again maybe 6 hours
Save
New route. Maybe start to head back to BB towers
Again do you want to visit the pub/spar/chippy
Again maybe 6 hours

Sunday morning, same again. No rush to get back theres plenty of tea for everyone.
Think of it like eating a huge elephant cake. Small bites and it becomes easier
