Difficult to see from the picture but, the Garmin should take a micro USB card. The big card could well be a holder for the micro USB with the micro either under the label on the packet and out of view or inside the holder.

Yep, the 'big card' will just be an adaptor, the micro sd card will be part of it ... have a proper look.

I think they would be fine, i copied my card to a virtual USB drive as suggested in this thread and all is working great in basecamp and on my Garmin 810, perhaps you could borrow a card and check
Thanks for the heads up about these cards. I've been using the Talkytoaster open source maps on my Etrex 20 for a few years and it's been okay but I definitely prefer to use Ordnance Survey maps. I went for the cheaper option (1:50k) as I think the screen on my Etrex is too small to make the best of 1:25k mapping. I'm looking forward to trying the new maps out.
What he ^^^ said. My 1:50K will live alongside Mr Barters very fine mapping, which is vaguely exciting until I'm tired and then I have to zoom in/out a lot to be happy.
