Not weighed myself today and I shalln't be but.....
Feeling good. Riding more. Walking/hiking more.
The distances I'm putting in aren't embiggening but the stats (times, HR, pace etc...) are all showing improvement.
Staying off the booze and feeling good for it.
Onwards and downwards.....

I got one waaaaay back when and then I Photoshop it every year and use it as/when needed.
It's a hoop that needs jumping through but I'll be damned if I'm repeatedly paying to do it.

Re: WTD: 29er rear wheel
Howdy, Sorry for the delay but I usually avoid this area of the forum (too dangerous) and so forgot all about this post  Anyway..... This might be a bit overbuilt for what you are after, but I have a blunt rim on a hope pro 2(?) 6 bolt hub that is gunmetal in colour. Also has a shimano freehub...

WTD: 29er rear wheel
So...am looking for a rear wheel (a bit too skint to buy new at the minute). - 29" - Non-boost / 135mm - 9mm QR - Fairly sturdy but not downhill/enduro beefy - Shimano freehub body compatible - Ideally 6 bolt rotor mount Good condition as I'd like it to last a while and take a bit of reasonably...

Lake Annecy. I didn't want to say as any sympathy for my situation seems to evaporate when I mention riding in lovely places. I'm not participating this week.
Too much work, three failed attempts at going riding and lots of quickly grabbed meals means that no good can come of standing of the scales of doom this week.

I've never bedded in a set of pads in my life.
Old pads dead, new pads in, keep riding.....
What am I missing? Sure as schnitzels doesn't seem to be braking power. Longevity?

Holy crap dude, that doesn't sound fun. I've ridden bits and pieces over the years and so by no means particularly knowledgeable but the bits I've done have all been proper mountain biking (as opposed to easy gravel bike friendly trails) - do with that what you will.....
