I have a pair of 700 c Rigida Sputniks I'm thinking of selling
Maybe a little narrow for what you want though,19mm internal
And 25mm external, they're black and brand new, change of
Direction with a project means they will just gather dust ?

Re: Layering

I get very hot too and heard that the Teclite cycle shirt is very warm too,
Hence why I'm thinking just the wind shirt, nice and light/pack able as well,
Worn in conjunction with their sleeping bag will up the rating too :-bd

Re: Layering

Another nod to the Buffalo system here, been using it for over 20 years,
Use the sleeping bags too,I find the mountain shirt too warm to cycle in
Unless it's freezing, am thinking of the unlined wind shirt next time over
A base layer

Re: Bear Bones 'Shower Curtain'.

Great idea,I'd be interested in of these to go with the Tarp pole,
Any idea on cost yet ? I actually thought you meant a shower curtain
On first glance as I've been looking at one of them as a lightweight
Groundsheet :???:

Re: sleeping bag dilemmas

Buffalo bag will cope better with a 'wet' weekend though,I'm biased though
Because I use a Superbag for cold trips and a Lightweight Outer with their
Pertex Thermaliner for warmer, lighter trips
