Just wondering if I should enter, although I've ridden jogle on a big dummy with lots of off road and wild camping all the way my bike packing trips are usually overnight trips of 30-50 miles.
So what should I expect....talk me into it

Re: early season motivation (or am I just lazy?)
Bivvy a month is one cure, I decided to give it a go to get over that winter slump. Believe it or not it's fun! January was fun, a trip to a forest where I hadn't been before, crystal clear skies with a sound track of foxes and owls while sipping Jura malt. This month I ran out the house after drivi...

Re: CycleStar Nanotech (1000 mile) lube
A standard oil change kit is about £20 anyway so not too much more, despite rohloffs dire warnings I'm sure you could mix a 15ml bottle in with the standard oil. Might be worth a shot.slarge wrote:Blimmin great hole in your walletBigdummySteve wrote:I wonder what would happen if I put a bottle in my rohloff

Going on the poor performance of my chronicles in the post freeze mud I'd try some surly dirt wizards
(mainly so you can tell me if they are any good thus avoiding wasting my own money)

Re: Tern rear light - simple yet clever.
I do something similar with a couple of spare knog lights, I attach them pointing at the road underneath the bike and it really makes a big difference In visibility especially from the side.

Re: Anything Cage Mounts on front triangle??
My ECR has triple bosses on the inside of the down tube, at the moment i use the lower two for a bottle cage. If you want I can experiment with an anything cage there, my tent might fit there. It also has a normal bottle mount on the underside, this is very useful as I can run a BBB oversized cage t...

Re: The post man's been ...
I picked up mine for £300 from wiggle, I went for the LW as it's under KG and rattles about in a small bag attached to an anything cage. Its very easy to pitch as well, as a solo tent it's very roomy for the weight. I've added the additional guy lines to mine but it's pretty stable with just four, I...
