They do a 50mm one too.

Recommendations for gps devices

The trusty Garmin 520plus is getting pretty high mileage now and the battery life on it has taken a real dive. Half tempted to investigate replacing the battery as it pains be to stop using tech purely because of a battery needing replacement. Wanted to explore what devices people would recommend as...

Re: WTD 29 x 2.4 Tubeless Maxxis Tyres

Maxxis in particular always seem to come up mega small so you might get a wider tyre in than you think.

I dunno why they label their fatbike ones, the 4.8”
Ones are 4.2” on a good day!

Re: Everything Is A Longshot These Days - Bluto 120mm Air Shaft Needed

Yep I’ve got one.

Unfortunately it’s inside my fork at the minute.

The bike rides better with a 100mm one IMO (and I have one) so it’s on the todo list to take the 120mm one back out and sell it.

If you can wait, I can help!

Even if it does turn out to be a small, that’s worth 500 notes to the masses all day long,

Even the cheap used Halfords voodoo ones go for 400 used, don’t undersell it … to the masses anyway.

Re: Fat bike mudguard

Mudhugger fathugger

I may be biased though as I did all their prototype testing in the early days! Seriously though I’ve not found anything better. Fathugger on the front and a normal 29er rear mudhugger out back, no need for the extension kit with 4” tyres

Have I f&@#ed up my jacket?

Made a bit of a post bb200 sleep deprived error yesterday. Threw my Columbia outdry in the washing machine (which I’ve done before no issues) except this time I’d accidentally used fabric softener/conditioner which the label explicitly says not to! It’s a red and grey one with pit zips, the red area...

Re: BB200 route.

Cue an absolute shocker of a route next year.... My thoughts exactly, the only time I swore this time was at some turnips that delivered a front wheel washout! The 2017 route I swore many many times over tussocks, bogs, trails I couldn’t find/see, you know the stuff I’m talking about! I am miles aw...

The gravel rally

Just seen a post on social media from the pan Celtic organisers about the gravel rally, an 80mile, 10,000 footer in north wales designed to be sub24hrs. Anyone know anything about the route? Snowdonia is not an area I’ve done that much riding other than the trickle in and out during gbduro and a bla...

Anyway, yes no reason why we can't now share our Oct rides, thoughts, observations, etc. OMG it's a horrible route isn't it? Don't forget to turn left at the tree. I wouldn't recommend the turnips at the food stop. Mind the wolves. Hands up who got stacked it in the turnip field…. Probably just me ...
