Re: Yay, it's cheery Friday.

I'm sat in the woods, with a can of walnut whip imperial stout, a good pork pie, and a well pitched tarp (even if I do say so myself).

Midgies are out, but I have Smidge, and some little bat friends swooping about.

Re: Missing the point?

If an inexperienced punter gets to equate 'adventure' with an enterprise that carries no risk they might find they are not then properly prepared when they sign up for an adventure which actually is an adventure and end up getting into difficulties. Mmm, I was thinking more the super-experienced fo...

Fairly sure there's more than a few BB200 entrants who'd take this approach if Stu didn't mandate minimum equipment.

Re: Technical question

It points to them keeping the head tube the same length. They may or may not have adjusted the rest of the geometry to compensate. If a-c has gone up by 10mm, and stack height has done the same, that would suggest the BB has stayed the same height above the floor, and they've adjusted the rest of th...

Re: Bivvy a Month 2024

No giant bonfire, but a nice Beltane bivvy. It started with helping out another cyclist with a jammed chain, then a sunny(!) ride out, a good natter (and dram) with @edaleskyline, and a mild and dry night.
