Re: Next weekends BB200
A big thank you to Stu and Dee for putting on the BB200. A friend called me up on Friday, telling me he had a spare ticket to Bike Park Wales on Saturday should the BB200 be cancelled... that made me laugh, cancelled because of a bit of weather, it ain't gonna happen. The thing is that now days (old...

Re: New XC Frame Option
I am on a Trek Procaliber and while the isocoupler isn't suspension it does take the edge off general chatter and bigger lumps. The main benefit being less fatigue.
So far, very happy with it.
I'm riding it at the BB200 this weekend if you are about and fancy a look at it.

Re: Next weekends BB200
I'm 'looking forward' to giving the 200 a go. Not heard much about that route which is as it should be. I'm rubbish with modern mapping apps so opting for turn on Wahoo, follow line until I see the van. Bike prep today, wet and windy out so kitting up as planned for the weekend and going to turn the...

Blimey, that was some read...
Glad to see you are all in fine form.
Hopefully a catch up under a bush sometime soon, you know, like in the next 6 months or so.

Well done all... just turning up to an undertaking that is guaranteed to challenge is quite something.
I spent all weekend banging on about the weather to anyone that would listen... it's the November one for me, got the sun screen packed already!

Have the November entrants been sent the course yet?
I have nothing yet but to be honest I can't remember what email you have for me.

Re: cairngorms loop
Hello Hoping someone in the know will be keeping a eye on this thread. Is now a good time to give the Cairngorm Loop, both inner and outer a go... gorse passable, unlikely to be mistaken for a deer etc. I have a couple of days spare after finding myself in Aberdeen on Thursday. If I want to submit a...

Re: Your favourite moments?
Getting a corner just right, the sound of the tyres literally clawing the surface for grip. Laughing at the weather as wind and rain tear at you, a chance to reveal the maniac within in a world that insists it be held at bay. A first kiss. Hearing the opening riff of your favourite track in a sweaty...

Re: Bivvy a month 2020.
Finally, I actually get a January Bivvy under my belt. So it's on, 2020 and Bam. I headed out from home with a notion to ride till I found a chippy and somewhere to kip. Then it dawned on me that a half sensible sunrise was forecast. So I decided I'd pop down to Botany Bay and get a pic from the bea...
