You may try to hide it with a bench, but that cabling is a disgrace.

Re: BB200 2024

2018 were wet. REALLY wet. There was no way you were getting round that one with any part of your clothing not being soaked. Surprisingly about 12hrs in, the weather cleared out. Of course by then it was dark so you needed to keep moving just to stay warm. That was the year of Mr Barter nearly depa...

Re: Mu travel adaptor

I lost my MU earlier in the year so hunted high all low but couldn't find a direct replacement, found something similar, slightly bigger but charges quicker. Whilst waiting for it to arrive i found my MU. WIN WIN. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314809321670?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-235...

Re: Mu travel adaptor

One of my best bits of kit was a Mu travel adaptor which had 2 usb ports and Euro/Usa clip on adaptors. It folded flat and was so easy to pack. I seem to have mislaid mine and the company has gone bust. Any suggestions on an alternative?? Did you sort this Dave? Just found mine and you're welcome t...

Re: CyB and Nant Yr Arian closing ...

CyB just isn't quite good enough to justify the drive for people coming from England imo, esecially when you consider everything else that you'd drive past on the way. Feels like a "do it once and done" type of trip. The visitor centre always seemed too big, and hence more expensive than i...

Just been doing a bit of factfinding for this and was hoping there'd be a thread on here. Chucking cyclists into ditches? There are plenty of people on here who consider a ditch to be premium-level accomodation.

Did anyone here do it? I saw a BB jersey on the event Facebook page. Great write up :-bd The BB jersey was me. I was a late starter - rocked up just as everyone was setting off, stayed for a coffee with Stu then got going about 50min late. That 50 mins, plus the 20 minutes or so I spent having a re...

Re: Northwest England 2 dayer

Hey Josh. The phrase "don't mind some elevation" is a tough one to judge  but if you fancy heading east into the West Pennines there's loads of off road bridleways across big open moors. It'll be less than an hour's drive to Waterfoot and that would drop you in a decent starting plac...

Re: Anybody bumped this farmer?

It's a really stupid place to camp tbf, and also stupid to still be there (what looks like) early morning when he should have been up and away. Not really much sympathy for the camper.

Farmer was OTT obviously but I always expect every farmer to behave like that having grown up around a few.

Setting off to do this tomorrow with Pete of this parish. Starting from Edgworth and riding over to Watergrove to start it proper. @ton, you made a generous offer, oooo, about a year ago, thanks. The screen protetctors on my 830 & Oregon 600/700 are looking a bit tired, & instead of replacing them i was wondering if i should even bother. I know the older Garmins needed doing in order to prevent scratches over time causing the screen to look, 'cloudy'. But does anyone know if the scr...
