Re: Fat bike - anyone regret it?

Well as you've probably seen from my video's I really love riding mine. It really is a go anywhere bike, from riding my normal mtb stuff, racing the Dyfi Enduro (last May), loading up for bikepacking or popping down the beach, it is just sooo much fun to ride. The worst thing has to be as V-Simon sa...

Slept in a old castle on top of a hill and weather was rather good. Anyone care to guess where it is ?? I know you all like a bit of guess where !! I was unsure until you mentioned Degla  Is it the ruin above Llangollen/Worlds End? And hats off to your lad for making it out as well, top stuff...

You don't know what make that kids fat bike is do you ... or who had it? I'd like a pair of rims for a fat bike shopper project  Yeah, it was a Sonic Bulk. They had two 20" bikes, one with discs the other without. Muddy Fox have also got one due for release next Spring which has a 16&qu...

I started from Conwy, up conwy mountain then the usual track to Cae Coch Followed by the Roman Road ( as per my July bivvy Video, Tal y Fan ). Then the video starts with the climb of Drum foll...

Here's the video from my September bivvy. Stayed at the refuge hut on Foel Grach (3150 feet) in North Wales.
A bit misty but you'll get the idea

Re: Bivvy a month 2014 thread.

With the forecast looking half decent I thought I'd get a high level one in. After the gruelling climb from conwy to Foel Grach (3150feet) on the Carneddau, I stayed at the refuge hut. Has to be one of the best this year, big shame the weather wasn't any clearer though as it would have been a belter...

What software do you use for those camera panning shots?

Just good old basic Windows Movie Maker. It has 20 different pan & zoom effects on the animation tab
I do need something a tad different now as I think I've used it to its limit :???:

Not sure why that is? I know its happened before with some of my video's, maybe its because there's copyrighted music on it?

If anyone knows how to sort it, I'd be greatly appreciated.

Re: Bivvy a month 2014 thread.

Made it 8/8 last night with a trip west of Coed y Brennin. I was hoping my August one was going to be the warmest but hailstones at the start and quite a chilly night put pay to that  Anyway a great route, felt like I was really 'out there'. However I think I do need lessons in how to set a ta...

Weather permitting I'll be trying out a new route for me, south of Trawsfynydd. It should tick the box for my 8/8 bivvy a month. And I might do a vid aswell, and try out the cable cam

Well I've had my 2014 Mukluk since last October and I must admit I haven't even looked at the other bikes (FS & HT). Unfortunately as last winter was a bit on the mild side I haven't had a decent spell on the snow. Having said that they are just so much fun. Unlike the previous post I haven't ha...
