Cheers Taylor,
I was going with the Saguaro as I've used them before and found them fast rolling and hardwearing whilst handling well.
I take it you prefer the Ikon, what gave it the edge over the Saguaro?
Thanks
Drew

Geax Saguaro on a stans rim?
Evening all, Bought some Sunringle Black flag 29er wheels, which have a rim licenced by Stans no tubes. They came with a nice light set of Schwalbe Racing Ralphs, and after 2 rides out and 2 punctures causes by nothing and leaving quite large holes in the tyres, I'm starting to think they may be 2 t...

Re: Bike Luggage Setup – Advice
RE the Wildcat Lion, has anyone tested both this and the Alpkit Kanga? Is one more 'stable' (less movement) than the other when riding? I've used both, there's a thread on here about my kanga, I liked the idea and extra attachment points, but switched to the wildcat lion and wouldn't go back to be ...

Bigger wheels
Well after asking questions here and worrying about my lofty stature and 29er wheels, I've been quietly amassing parts over he last 8months or so and finally plumped for the groupset Anyway, it's a bigger version of my Scandel, built up fully rigid, with some jones loops for one or two hand position...

Re: Gaiters
I use some Lowepro ones I've had for years when I remember
Light weight gaiters are great in principle, but this is an area that gets a fair bit of abuse.
Has anybody tried / use the ankle ones that some fell runners use?

Re: Tips for applying helitape
Cheers folks, I used the hairdryer approach and it worked, the tape looked ok in terms of it being on, but have decided to use it just on the downtube and forks. Like the matt black finish of the frame, and in all honesty the frame bags haven't marked the frame I have already with this finish so wil...

Shimano slx and xt
Quick question,
Building up my new bike over the next month or so, but want to still have 2 bikes....
Looking at groupsets, some good buys to be had. I currently have XT, do you reckon I'll notice a difference with the SLX kit?
Thanks
Drew
