I use one of the larger OMM ones as mentioned toward the top of the post (pay attention :wink: ) ... yes, they work very well and although light, seem to hold up to the elements and general abuse very well.

Update on the Trax Fatty 29x3.0

Spoke to Geoff at Vee tyre UK.

End of feb for the above tyre. Price range 60 to over 80 squids. So not cheap.

My meths wouldnt light at the weekend. It was very cold though. I used my riding buddy's stove instead. couldnt be bothered waiting for the meths to warm up and didnt really have anywhere very warm to warm it

Pretty good going that Ian.

I manged 95km on the ford fiesta. First bivi of the year too. New bag worked pretty well.

It was certainly windy out there.
