20 minutes ago it started to sleet, now my 'office' is white over. The flakes are massive and the sky looks full ... certainly wasn't forecast.

Took the fargo in today thinking it would only be slush. Did a scencic route home and ended up in about 3" of freshies in the woods near home. Fat bike commute tomorrow!

Plenty in the lakes too. Especially high up, mostly pretty soft until 550m then some is consolidated. Was very windy yesterday with serious amount of new snow in the wind.

What's it like in Wales now? I've plans to head over in the next few days

Here, there's nowt below 400m then after that the higher you go the more there is ... although everything is pretty rideable even high up.

When the snow is that bad whats it like trying to ride a non-fatbike bike?

When it's deep, so you cut through it, it's very very tiring! That's if you can make progress...if on your normal single speed geared for standard off road japes, it's even more tiring!
