625g you have to be having a laugh! I bet you could get a set made up in steel for less weight than that.

Re: Adventure cycle festival

Has anyone given any thought to where they're staying yet? It would appear than on-site accommodation doesn't run to tents, so I was thinking the Low Wray campsite down the road on Sat night? Double Really???!!?? I presumed, wrongly it would seem, that you could camp/bivi in the grounds of Brathy L...

Re: Garmin Etrex 20x - route help

The etrex does have an SD card but the files are all integral to the unit with internal memory Think i have worked it out though. The gpx files i have loaded do seem to be visible on the map, BUT......... They are just displayed as a series of individual waypoints rather than being a 'route' with al...

Re: Garmin Etrex 20x - route help

I plug in the garmin so it shows as a drive on the computer. If it's an etrex then save as a gpx file. Open the folder called garmin and drop the file in the folder called gpx. That's all. From that thread - that's what I have done but it doesn't seem to work as they are not showing in any of the o...

Re: Thermarest Neoair

Same it had to cost you £15, Thermarest still carry a lifetime guarantee. But now you have to pay a service charge for replacement. The issue will have been a tiny, tiny failure right on one of the welded seams. I had the same issue with the rectangular neoair that i couldn't find the whole using th...

It's a 40mm too rather than a 45mm
Might be a bit short.

Would you take £35 posted?

Re: FS, stems, seatpost and shifters.

Sorry to be a pain Gari

But just googled Thomson X3 and can't find anything? And the only 45mm stem I can find is an 1.5inch oversize steerer stem.

Can you just confirm again? Do you have a close up photo of just the stem itself.

Re: FS, stems, seatpost and shifters.

What's a Thomson X3?

45mm sounds good length but is it for 31.8 bars and 1 1/8th steerer?

Re: Any good routes in Slovenia?

Have a look on Bikepacking.com there is a Joe Cruz route of Slovenia and North Italy.
We did it last year and it was fab, beautiful country, cheap, friendly locals who are all unbelievably courteous to cyclists.

PHD sizing

Happy New Year! Looking at getting either a Rab or PHD light down jacket. I know the rab will fit perfectly in a medium and will have a slim cut and very long sleeves I need, but always hankered after a PHD jacket as I've been mega impressed with my down gillet. Looking at the bargain box the wafer ...

Re: Guy Martins round Britain

I've never read so much crap from people commenting about a bloke who's pushing what he can do on a bike and giving wider coverage to cycling. Question 1 - Have you ridden over 2700miles over rough terrain in a very short period of time which was actually pretty competitive???? If answer is: A - ple...
