Has anyone done this ? recommend it ?
http://yorkshiretruegrit.co.uk/event-info/
I am looking around for things to do over summer [ok, always ] and really liked riding in N Yorkshire last summer. Of course I could just trundle off and do my own thing at my convenience, not have to pay entry fee, but this looks interesting and covers some private land too.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Not done it as it clashes with the YD300 (or is weekend before/after).
There's also the Hope Pre Peaks - http://hopeprepeaks.com/ which is a new event this year.

Looks good, I'm dumb enough to have signed up for the National 400 Audax that same day though

I'm doing the 60 miler on the Saturday and 20 on the Sunday, kinda felt like i had to enter as i won some pedals in their FB page competition. Looks good though and camping is £5 so not the silly prices some charge
