Bearbones Calendar

This link will allow you to add this to google or sync it with outlook etc (apparently, but again I'm not Zippy. . .)

OK - so don't get you're hopes up, so far this is just a virtually blank google calendar.

So far myself and Stu have the power to edit - but anyone can also send invites to it (not sure how exactly but apparently you can!) - try to keep them bikepacking related or they may vanish and I may have to tighten up the settings!

I have added stuff for the BB200 - have a look, any thoughts ideas dates etc much appreciated.

Oh... There I was looking forward to proudly pinning a 12 page showcase of mid-Wales greatest bogs and tussocks up on the office wall at the beginning of January...

Just setup your event on your calendar with your favourite calendar program (i.e. Outlook, google calendar or whatever floats your boat) and send an invitation to either Ione or Stu. (Before I start publishing email address' for it to work, do you want to sort out a "Bearbones" email to use with the calendar so your personal email doesn't get filled with bikepacking event invitations? ).

Hmmm I'm sure there must be a difference in the way invitations to this calendar are handled compared to the general ones to my mail box - otherwise all invitations to my email will save automatically to this calendar :???:

Can you try and see if there an option to send an invite from your view Zippy? As I have set invitations to be added automatically so I don't get the mail

yes I've cracked it - to add an event to the Bearbones calendar you have to create an event in your own calendar and send an invitation to that event to

8ku6v8mfme0q8j8hn3u163giv8@group.calendar.google.com

This will automatically add the event in - and wont fill up my inbox with emails.

If you can try and add as many details such as web page event start and location that would be a great help

I will try to check the calendar periodically to make sure there's nothing dodgy being added!!!

So I've been trying to add a few things - let me know your thoughts

Tonight is the start of the Transcontinental no 4 - last year it took Josh Ibbett 9 days + so I have shown it as a 10 day long event.

Have put on the URLs for the two dot watching sites for all those into that sort of thing

:)
