I bought my brother in law one a few years ago
Apart from the plastic strap going a bit brittle and also needing new strap pins, the watch itself has been good

No, but I've had a Traser for years. Fantastic watches, it's my outdoorsy watch now (the tritium is really handy for seeing the time at night) as my Apple Watch has stopped me wearing all other watches for day to day use annoyingly
