Aprils photo comp ... VOTE NOW!
This months photo comp (thanks Ray) has the theme of 'Sunrise' so please post your pictures here by April 20th. I'll open a poll on the thread on the 20th where people can vote for their favourite picture. We'll keep the voting open until the end of April ... the winner can then decide what the next months theme will be.
Please give your picture a title so it can be easily identified, ta.

Re: Aprils photo comp.
do the photos have to be:
a) bikepacking themed or just 'the theme' themed?
b) taken in the month of/preceding the competition or just taken?

Don't have to be bikepacking themed ... although I imagine a lot will have been taken on trips.a) bikepacking themed or just 'the theme' themed?

Can't change the file name/caption so let's call this "Mick's Dawn till Dusk Ride 2011"

Really like Matt's Fields of Gold shot above. Texture in the barley is amazing.
Anyway, I think this is one of my best/memorable sunrise shots while on a bike trip, during the coast to coast last year.

As Matt has posted two, I'll put this one in as well, from a few days after the summer solstice last year:

At the opposing end of the solar year, this one is from a few days before the winter solstice last year, same ride as Nick's above:

Re: Aprils photo comp ... VOTE NOW!
The poll seems to have a mind of it's own (I think) it's now giving a different tally to yesterday :? I'm fairly convinced that we had a 4 way tie but that's not the case now ... did anyone actually take a note?
I recall there were 5 votes each to:
Chew
Matt
Ian
Faddy Victor

Re: Aprils photo comp ... VOTE NOW!
I agree with the above.
Re: Aprils photo comp ... VOTE NOW!
As i'm top of the list does that give me the 'win'
Re: Aprils photo comp ... VOTE NOW!
Chew, if you divide your total votes by the number of images you've posted then you win.
With hindsight, I think we should probably limit entries to one picture per person anyway.
So, what's May's topic going to be?

Okay then, unless anyone has any objections we'll announce Chew the winner of April's Photo Comp ... so as Ian says, what's May's theme going to be Chew?
