FS Compact chainset, Midge bars & stem, Scandal 29er frame

Post by Pyro »

Edited this, switching bits out on cross and 29er bikes, selling off accordingly.

Truvativ Elita 2.1 Road Compact Chainset

34-48 compact, 175mm arms, includes GXP BB. Had it a couple of years, but only had about 1 season's relatively light use due to a lot of faffing about and more time riding mountain bikes than my 'cross. Has a few marks and scuffs as you'd expect, but nothing major. Selling because I've discovered I'm not manly enough for a Compact so I've bought a cheap Triple.

Midge Bar & Race Face stem

Used but not hammered Midge bar, bought some time ago and been across various bikes, love the flare but can't quite get on with it other aspects. It's a 25.4 clamp, hence selling with a 100mm (I think) Race Face (Deus, I think) stem to go with it.

£20 posted (more because of the size/awkwardness)

One-One Scandal 29er frame, 19.5" (Large)

Bought off Johnnystorm from here, sadly it's just a bit too big for me, though it's served me really well on a couple of big races and days out. Having to run a 50mm stem on it and it's just a touch too twitchy at the end of a long day because of it.

Johnnystorm's original ad and some pictures are HERE, it's been used further by me and has a few extra nicks, so going cheap. Would make a good, light, cheap 29er build for someone!

£70 posted.

Discount for picking up - I'm based in Leeds.

Pretty sure they're 175, but I'll double check for you this evening.

That scandal is a bargain. It's only about 200gms heavier than my carbon lurcher.

Yeah, it's been vaguely exciting, as I said to you it was a bit of a frame size experiment. Got me through a couple of epics, but just a touch twitchy with the 50mm stem! Fortunately, I kept my old frame so it's a straight switch of kit back over.

Javatime, pm'd you back. Cheers!
