Grid to mag add!

Post by fatbikerbill »

That was the mnemonic I was taught many moons ago.

Since then north has decided to muck around with things.

Would I be correct that at the moment grid north and magnetic north are pretty well aligned in the Uk making the difference almost zero?

Regards
Bill!

Yes, all three norths (true, grid and magnetic) are currently aligned. Actually the alignment is more of a point that is traversing the UK from south to north. There was a thread about it a few months ago.

Edit: found it - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=22615&p=297964
