Friday at the Star.
I spoke to Karen last night - she tells me that:
1/ They'll be keeping the kitchen open late on Friday night.
2/ They'll do an early breakfast for 300 riders ... get in touch. You don't have to have B&B booked to get something but they'll need to know prior.
3/ Gareth will be manning the bar for the first time since his accident. He's looking forward to it which makes me wonder whether he damaged his head as well as his leg.
Now you know.

May the bridges you burn light your way

Cracking entry for the event then if you're expecting 300 riders! That'll keep them busy doing 300 breakfasts...Bearbonesnorm wrote: 2/ They'll do an early breakfast for 300 riders ...
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Got a spare bed in a twin room if anyone's still looking - Rufus has dropped out after seeing the weather forecast

You are kidding? He's normally so committed, the forecast must be really really really bad now.In Reverse wrote:Got a spare bed in a twin room if anyone's still looking - Rufus has dropped out after seeing the weather forecast

I’ll take it if no one has grabbed it already. Otherwise I’ll drive over Saturday morning and forgo a few beers and a wet night in a tentIn Reverse wrote:Got a spare bed in a twin room if anyone's still looking - Rufus has dropped out after seeing the weather forecast
