CTC bike bag from Terminal 5 Heathrow

Flying out of Terminal 5 with BA from Heathrow, has anyone done this and used a CTC bike bag? I'm struggling with options a bit and I've done this for many year but this year I've got nervous about being turned away with the bike!

My Lois transferred through T5 earlier this year enroute from Bilbao to Manchester. And I've brought her out of T5 before enroute to Gatwick. CTC bag both times, BA both times. Check with 'em before travel and don't forget the pipe lagging.

I've heard a rumour that there's a new reg banning unboxed bikes in the new year. Sorry to be vague but as Scott says, it's worth checking with the carrier, maybe the CTC can throw some light on it as well.
