I was in Aviemore four weeks ago and the new petrol station looked almost completed, and I was wondering if it is open yet or when will it open?

I'll need to check on the butcher. They had stopped late night opening for a while but might have started again. You can't miss it Ian - it's in the high street, on the right behind Mountain Warehouse.

As for the filling station, it's with a M&S Simply Food. I think that might be 24hr too, but I'll check and confirm.

Ahh the butcher! He saved me from being a very sad guy when I done the group start at the beginning of the year. Burgers are great and the guy is a star. He even made us a coffee.

Me too! For some reason we kept riding after seeing no petrol station. I didn’t know the place existed

I can confirm that the filling station/M&S Simply Food/Wild Bean Cafe is, indeed, open 24 hrs.

No news on the butcher yet, though I'll ask my daughter to find out before she comes home at whatever time that is

It's exactly where the Torq filling station is on StreetView. It's been knocked down and rebuilt.


And the butcher is open after pub closing time for a range of carry-out foods.
