On the way to bearstock my nine month old 30x crashed as I was loading a new gpx.
The factory/master reset instructions do not work at all.
Basically all it will do is power up, load the maps then display the menu page before turning off again.
It sounds exactly the same as what happened to Lee's during the HT550. Although I'd rather mine had broken now rather than then!
Anyone have any ideas? Other than warranty claim?

I use an Edge 810 rather than Etrex, but this may help you:
