Thanks for the etiquette points chaps. I need to step back and await Chew's unfolding plans!

My, probably not unexpected by now, rejoinder is that I'd thought those privileges were already part of the LHC membership package :). Anyroadup, tx again, really looking fwd to it all.

I'd like a lhc place please. I'm doing the lite version but thinking might just head out with Chew on the sat & sort myself out on the sun. Assuming that's ok with chew? Knowing where I was Saturday night/Sunday morning would be useful I guess

Hi Scott. I think I remember. We rode ahead through lots of gates on the sat. I had the black felt 29er.

Can't wait for the final route chew. Thanks for organising

This years routes will be hilly so make sure you have plenty of weetabix

Anyone who wants in, send me your email via PM over the next few days and I'll send out further details next week :-bd

Anyone doing the lite that could put up with a slow and steady pace? Don't think I can do the full 3 days.

Hi Scott, yep I reckon another taker here for "Plan B". I'm not quite as fit as I was - someone snapped me the other day on my way to the shops:

Would quite like to add in Barmouth Bridge if possible for the views, and a remote-ish bivi, but happy with whatever.

"Reg"

PS> Ohh, OK, my preference for "Plan B" has got sod all to do with my supposed fitness/unfitness. The presence of the word "pub" in the proposal has more of a bearing on the decision :-)

Hi Chew,

Could I possibly join the LHC again this year, if that's ok?

Really enjoyed last year's outing, thank you. (Will try to stay out for both nights this time, unless we have another casualty evacuation...)

I still haven't convinced sufficient numbers of my mates to spend their days getting tired cold and rained on, and their nights sleeping rough in Welsh hills. My brother was keen to join, but he's been a bit stitched up on childcare and so will be at home instead.

So, I would be very keen to join your merry band if that's alright?

I'll PM you my email address.

Best,
James

For anyone who hasn't been before (I've still only managed one in 2014!), it's a very friendly affair

I rode on my own for most of it, and had my own route planned for the trip. But I spent both nights camping with others and enjoyed my pub meal with some others again

It's a very social affair so even if you want to ride on your own, you'll still end up meeting others (unless you have a particularly remote route)
