Northern Winter Bivi - DELAYED START
Ok, all set for this years Northern Winter Bivi.
Social ride for the short and cold days. Everyone welcome especially if you buy me a drink
What to expect:
30ish km on the Saturday and some more on the Sunday
A few hills, probably a bit of pushing and a bit of swearing
Evening food and refreshment in the pub
When:
Saturday 12th December
Meeting Point:
Stubbing Wharf, HX7 6LU
Noon meet for 1pm start
No parking in the pub carpark please. Cheeky parking available nearby or its a 5 min ride from the train station.
No idea what the weather will be like so come prepared, and you'll need a set of lights.

Re: Northern Winter Bivi
I am interested in joining you for the NWB.
As a bonus it could save me one hour each way in the car

Aye, count me in Chew!
Hopefully we will get some good riding in on the Sunday, instead of getting soaked.
Looking forward already, might even buy you that drink!!!!

Re: Northern Winter Bivi
Seeing as this is less than 1km from my front door I should probably attend :)
I can possibly offer some couch surfing space for the Friday night if people want to maybe pre-ride on the Friday night?

Everyone will have different opinions Matt, so you might not end up that much wiser I'd suggest sending Chew a message and asking his advice as he knows the route, etc, etc ... he's very friendly and doesn't usually bite.can anyone give me any advice on what to put in the bags?
May the bridges you burn light your way

Looks like my brother in law is getting a surprise trip to the UK for that weekend. Wife has said I can still go ride, but may not make the bivi part. We shall see.
