A lovely parcel turned up today from decathlon

A Btwin 500 hydration pack, makes a nice tiny riding pack for trails, and careful packing I can just squeeze a weekend of riding kit into it if i don't use the bladder, bargain.

And a pair of Btwin 700 bib short as recommended on here, down to £25, very nice fit, well made and the wide bands on the thighs are a welcome addition, ill be testing these out later on the roadie

And my girlfriend had a matching pack in her colours and the women's 700 bibs, and no, before you ask, I didn't try those on as well, although it took a second to tell the difference in the packaging

Technically the postman didn't bring it, but tonight I have been playing around with a revo and dynamo borrowed from a friend to try out. It's quite exciting and there may be a fair amount of mad scientist-esque 'power, limitless power*' cackling going on...

I don't think it had seen anything other than tarmac, on the canyon website they have warehouse clearance and ex demo stock for sale I've no idea why it was so cheap all the other bikes seem to have around 30% off, I guess I just got lucky!

I see you have a Chronicle on the front and I'm intrigued. I couldn't fit one in the fork on my Swift. Have you done something clever?

Newer swifts fit 50mm rim / 3" tyres in the fork.

Yes, but they're not blue. And that seems to have a Chronicle on the rear too.

It is a Singular Rooster.
I opted for blue and also went for anything cage mounts on the fork.
It is heavy but comfortable.
It makes me happy.
