Knoydart is a bit of a bikepacking mecca in a away - that pub, several bothies and some unbelievably hard bike riding. Also plenty horrible weather and midges

Sounds great! Thanks for sharing
Re: Pilgrimage for a Pint
I walked in a few years ago and ended at the pub. Had very high hopes but was a bit underwhelmed. Seemed to have gone a bit posh and boaty and wasn't massively welcoming. Mediocre pint too
Re: Pilgrimage for a Pint
I bikepacked into Knoydart last year. From Loch Arkaig. During a dry spell, which made a huge difference. I found 6 crates of beer hidden in the bushes. Been there a while. But I wasn't drinking at the time. Bummer.

Never been but, Pub changed hands last year. Now owned by the locals. Previous was a Belgian bloke. I think.
