As per title, the zip has gone and lining failing on my lighter weight roadie waterproof and, rather than getting another similar one that will be dead in two years, I wondered whether there is such a thing as a tighter-fitting less flappy Outdry jacket model?
My MTB one is great and seemingly indestructible but far too baggy for a fashionable roadie at the cafe.
Is there such a thing as a "racefit" Outdry?

Must be a rare breed, in all my years I’ve never seen a fashionable roadie
There are definitely variation in the cut that Columbia use, however I’ve no idea how to unpick all the models.
I’ve got a montrail one which is quite baggy and a titanium which is a tighter cut, it’s not tight fitting though

The sizing of Columbia outdry is erratic
My lightweight small is massive [ would fit a puffer jacket underneath and likely still be baggy] and my heavier weight outdry is tight at the waist [ and therefore a racier fit] and would not fit anything much underneath - fine for cycling rubbish for winter walking. Its much thicker so even a baggy version is unlikely to be flappy
The heavier weight is too heavy for summer/year round use[ sub 15C ideally sub 10C ] and the lightweight one is not the greatest waterproof I have ever owned [ Hood is rubbish but not really been out in a prolonged downpour on the bike wearing it to comment ]. Neither is technically a roadie fit [ I mean skin tight here]
If you could find somewhere to try them on you might get lucky

This one...
Quite generous size wise (I got my usual medium) but whilst the sleeves are long enough to allow a size down, the overall length is just OK so sizing down might make it a bit short.
