Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
01/01/22 78.7kg
11/01/22 77.4kg
Goal - I'd like to be 60 something kilos again - but I'm not fussy just lighter and back in my normal clothes as I'm in danger of needing to go shopping if I keep growing
Seem to be off to a flying start but it is more than a week, and it probably would have been more if I weren't on the same pleasant valley diet as Taylor at the weekend

Intermediate weigh in today hoping for a boost and I got it with 0.8kg or 1.7lbs since Friday
Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
I love the first few weeks of these. Loads of people getting good results / feeling optimistic!
Edit - For what it's worth, we generally do numbers on a Friday. But I assume as long as it's once a week then gairym can keep track of it.

I'm breezy, I'll just throw 365 columns onto the spreadsheet and then once a week I'll go through and enter them when they were posted.

And yeah, lots of loss and youthful optimism at this point - long may it continue.....
Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
Yeh was going to post offical weigh in on Friday. Just wanted to share a first success!
Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
Odd, put on a full kg overnight despite being under my calorie intake target. Also did an hour of exercise too (though only light).
I do feel properly swollen though (especially sinuses), so I guess related to that.

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
Morning folks,
I'm currently not near my scales but I've been behaving and so expecting a little loss or at least no gain when I get back on them later.
Might not be until Tuesday though as..... I'm going away on the bike!!!
Decided to pour petrol on my tiny stack of brownie points and use them all up at once.
Have used the 'Where2go' feature on the Meteoblue app in which you select a radius from your current location and a day/time you want to visit and it tells you where the best weather is - it's REALLY handy!
So I'm driving down through Italy in the morning until the weather gets warm and then I've got until Monday lunchtime up mosey around on the bike and enjoy myself.....
It'll also be the first time in a number of years that I'll not be selecting my finishing location and accommodation choices around the closest craft beer pub, should be interesting...
Good luck this week everyone and I'll check in with my actual numbers as/when I can.

3.5kg in a week?! Over half a stone! Tell us your secret, 24/7 activity and no food?
Can largely be water surely?
But jeez well done!

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
Friday is here again...
Target 1 - 27th March, 95kg
Target 2 - 24th June, 92kg
Re-start (2021) 101kg
07th Jan 99.5kg
14th Jan 99.2kg
Steady away, crack 99 next week. I do need to increase the rate of loss as at approx 0.3 per week I will miss my Target 1 by 1,2kg so have to do a little better.
Well done to those having a go

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
Strict calorie control and lots of exercise - endurance, hiit and heavy weight lifting. Also cut out the booze.
Have also been training weights regularly for 3 years so have a higher percentage of active tissue (muscle) than average, so it eats up the stored fat once you're in calorie deficit.
I doubt that will be repeated though! Usually do about 1kg a week.
Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
Well done! I think I lost near that in early weeks a few years back when I started keto, but wil have been massive amounts of water and empty bowels
Not keto now, but it was great to get me down to a pretty good looking 90kg. I may reconsider it.
I'm fairly limited with the amount/type of exercise I can do health wise, knackered joints, temperamental heart and history of ME. Having to largely rest up today , pretty wiped out and achy knees after about 10.5 hours through the week between cycling, walking and sea swimming, all low intensity. Even at low intensity I start getting some micro angina after a few 2-3 hour rides in a row.
Keep it up everyone

07/01/22: 70.9kg
14/01/22: 70.1kg (-0.8kg)
-------------
Target: 62kg by 10/06/21. 14% bodyfat or lower.
-------------
Not a terrible week, but I'm annoyed that I suddenly swelled up again. Thought I was starting to get past whatever it is that's causing all this inflammation.

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)
94.9kg 3/1/22
93.2kg 9/1/22
91.6kg 14/1/22
3.3kg in under two weeks.
Driving between jobs I keep seeing bakery's and such like but I've managed to avoid them, that's probably my biggest weekness(and wine).
Hopefully I'll keep this up.

1/1 - 78.4kg
8/1 - 77.1kg
14//1 - 76kg
All pretty good so far. Cut out snacks other than a treat Sat night. Only beer night is a Sat too. I've cut out Fri/Sun drinks. I kinda fancy one tonight though as its been a tough day at work and I've had a delivery turn-up.

I'm drinking zero alcohol beers at the moment (or, well... 0.5% in some cases). They've improved a ton since the old days.
