In French so don't understand any of it. If the pictures are anything to go by, a new level of wtf has been reached.

Reg I've asked you not to page me while I'm shirking from home. I have enough distractions with the slugs on my beans and the dog barking at every sound in the street.
How can I help you?
Oh, right ... that odd thing. Yeah, nah, yeah ... looks great to me. So comfy. There's a large slice of me that wants one. Not sure how it would manage down Scafell but if someone wants to fund me, I'll give it a go.
I'm just going outside ...

It would be interesting to be seated while someone else was riding it...

Normal bike and a folding chair??
Re: The next big thing in bike packing.
I’m intrigued by that picture. Are the handlebars connected to the front wheel? They look like they’re pointing in different directions. And wtf is that person wearing? Sort of pantaloons or something?
Re: The next big thing in bike packing.
On the animation the bars rotate round from being inside the hoop to on the top. I think the bars are connected by cables* to the front wheel, hence having been rotated round they are the opposite way to the wheel.

Re: The next big thing in bike packing.
If we ever see one in real life a quick swap of the cables would reverse the steering

Weren't all go karts controlled by that when kids were allowed to do that sort of thing? Absolute deathtrap way of steering. And reversing the cables is genius - or just introducing a lot of slack.....ScotRoutes wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 10:26 amFly by stretchy wire?*If it wasn't hard enough to ride as it is there's the cable controlled steering to add to the fun
