I want to try mounting my Edge Explore on the front loop of my loop bars and also on one of those extender bar thingummies. I can find mounts for TT bars but obviously they all mount the Garmin at 90 degrees to where I’d need it.
I suppose I could try packing out a 31.8 mount but I’d prefer something more solid.
Can anyone recommend a mount, or a clever solution?
Ta.

Re: Garmin mount for 22mm bar
I've used two part 22.2mm bmx handlebar shims which take you up to 25.4mm and then reducers are generally available 31.8 - 25.4mm if needed.
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.
Re: Garmin mount for 22mm bar
You can get spacers from 22 to 31.8, i've got my Maxx-D mounted like this (sorry, can't find the ebay linky).
A thin piece of heli-tape on the bar should help to prevent it from slipping.
Edit: Think it could be one of these-

One of these would allow you to use one of the many 1/4mounts. Should have one spare, can post you one of whatever I’ve got for you to try if you want Charlie.

I think this is what you want.
You can modify the exposure quick release mount to take a Garmin Mount and with this shim its good to go.
Just found this which is what I was trying to describe.

Re: Garmin mount for 22mm bar
Thanks all. I’m going to go with the shim Suggested by Wotsits. (Thanks very much for the kind offer to post one, Wotsits, but I might as well get a spare or two so I’ll go with eBay.)
