FS: Crankbrothers Highline 3 170mm 31.6

Post by Mythste »

Hello!

As per the title. Brand new, never fitted - because I'm an idiot. I didn't check the maximum insertion of my frame, so now I've mullered the box, cut the included cable, returning it feels like taking the piss.

£176 paid for it 3 weeks ago, does £140 to claim some of my pennies back seem fair? Will always be on hand to help with warranty should it ever be needed.

Many Thanks!

Is it the travel that is too long? Due to frame insertion? What travel would you need for it to work?

It’s a mixture of both. I think I’m going to need 125 or a super short post (I think one up seem to be the ones to aim for).

I might have a shorter high line dropper in one of my bikes that might be able to swap with?

I’d have to have a measure if it’s of interest

Happy to have a check if it’s not too much of a pain! Thanks!

Having checked, The highline3 I have in my fatbike which has a really low stand over is actually 150mm of travel, it does have ample post above the seatclamp to take a 170mm one but 150 isn’t going to be enough for you to swap.

My monstercross has the 120mm v1 high line in it but that’s right up against the seat clamp as the top tube is higher.

Doesn’t look like I can help :(

For reasons I’m unsure of I missed this. Thanks for checking!

Still here, and will still entertain trades for MTB hydraulic brakes, 11 speed road shifters/cranksets or anything else fun and interesting!
