Re: For Fatbike Fans
It did seem very hit and miss - some people either never got a response or it took several weeks. I think my request took a couple of days before being accepted.Lawmanmx wrote:it'd prolly help IF it was a bit Easier to join than the last one i recon

Re: For Fatbike Fans

Re: For Fatbike Fans
As a new convert to the ways of the fat, with my lovely 'Dale fat Caad 1 with lefty, I'd be interested in a FB forum.
Not so much a gravel grinder.... more a gravel (mud and tarmac) groveller...

Re: For Fatbike Fans
I feel that I ought to say, you're quite welcome to talk about any type of bike here, even fat bikes. My dislike is personal and shouldn't hinder conversation and debate
May the bridges you burn light your way
Re: For Fatbike Fans
No worries. It is more about building a good reference home for the fat tyres beasts...and the bikesBearbonesnorm wrote:I feel that I ought to say, you're quite welcome to talk about any type of bike here, even fat bikes. My dislike is personal and shouldn't hinder conversation and debate

Re: For Fatbike Fans
Would be good, i organised a few East Anglia fat bike meets and it was difficult with the forum down.
I think like most, i would of ended up with a pile of different parts all of the wrong standards if it hadn't been for fat bike forum. was a source of good info (like here) as a forum should be.

Re: For Fatbike Fans
Scott Sidener just finished 3rd on the CTR riding a fat SS bike. Not much asphalt on the route to suffer the fat-drag, and lots of rocky surfaces to float over...!
Re: For Fatbike Fans
Fair bit to discuss with the new Salsa fat bike line up too I'd imagine.
