It's an innovative approach though I'm a tad skeptical - rather than chose different tyres for different terrain or weather conditions, just zip on the correct tread:

Now, I was expecting to see some new fangled, high-tech 'zip' but that looks very similar to what's stopping me nob falling out of my shorts.

They're Norwegian, and they probably make sense if you have to ride a bike in Norway.
Baring in mind their bikes are usually made of pig-iron I can't see these detracting from the ride quality all that much.

To be filed in the 'appropriate for some' corner I think.

... and presumably/hopefully one of those anti-snag zips unlike the annoying one on my sleeping bag. Ouch, doesn't bear thinking about <shudder>...
