Enjoy the pressfit 86 bottom bracket ... creek.........creek.......creek....creek...creek
I'm not ecstatic about it but to be fair the one on my commencal has been pretty much creak free. OHs Pivot had some creaking issues which have been solved by a thread together bb. I read somewhere aluminium shells should be easier than carbon to get the tolerances for pf bbs right, which might explain the difference.
Ideal world it would have had threaded bb but oh well.
Winter bag turned up: Rab Summit 600. looks like it will do the business and with a decent stuffsac (not the one supplied) it should compress to a reasonable size considering.
And a GSI java press. Like an aero press but hopefully will fit in a bottle holder for those morning brews.
A nice big box of parts (the box was actually properly filled not a 10:1 ration of bubble wrap to items) . Various spare brake pads and a 1x11 drivetrain - shifter, derailleur, cassette and cables (already got the chain). A jacket that was in the sale and about 1/3rd price!

Nigel, the first 3 are replacements for damaged items so those don't count as purchases that what I tell my wife.
The postman brought me some Jones Loops I've finally given in and bought some. I've put it off as they are so expensive but I've probably spent more on the combined cost off all the other bars I've bought trying to get the perfect bar.

Convince yourself you really wanted the carbon version and hey presto look how much you saved.
You didn't by carbon did you?

They're the ally versions but I'm already afraid that if I get on really well with them I'll want to upgrade to carbon in fact I probably did want the carbon ones but had to resist the urge.
One of the reasons I eventually took the plunge is the resale values seem to be about 2/3 the new price so I'll have that to put towards the carbon ones or if I don't get on with them I can recoup some of the outlay.
