how many will be staying either at or on the car park of the Star inn on friday evening? and does anyone know what the food is like there? :-bd

IMO the food's good. It'll not get a Michelin star but it's proper food, served in decent sized portions for reasonable money. Actually, by local standards I'd probably go as far as very good :wink:

I may arrive at the star on Friday evening for light refreshments and sustenance but depends how early I can get away from work and the traffic on the m4!

nice one Ben, young Sammy and myself should get there for 8.30/9.00pm i recon, do you know IF they will be serving breakfasts by any chance?

I'll be there for about 9pm on Friday.

I've stayed there for the last 2 BB events, there's a nice hubbub about the place on the night before. Food and breakfasts are good.

Brekkie available, we'll have dinner (depending on arrival time) and brekkie there but will be camping

Spoke to Gareth Jones, the landlord, he was very accomodating!

We're aiming to get there by 9pm but that might be a bit optimistic...
