There's a review on pinkbike that is quite favourable and I think
I read one on Mtbr, softish sidewalls were the main concern on
The 'light' version with the enduro version being a tougher tyre,I've
Been on the watch out for a pair of the latter...
Edit; Tough fast Tcs enduro casing as opposed to light fast etc.....

I've a pair arrived yesterday Tony. First impressions are good - reasonably light and appear well put together. I'll find out later whether or not they go up tubeless okay. Certainly seem to be a good half way house between a TrailBlazer and Bridger in terms of tread, profile, etc.
I'm hoping you can't go wrong for £15

yea, sounds like their worth a punt if they get the BB nod of approval, and like you say £15 ... whats not to like

That's a great price if it still stands,I can get the 'tough' ones for about £39,
Which isn't too bad (especially when your used to Fatbike tyre prices), as you
May have seen on the Fatfighters thread, I'm no shrinking violet so I need all
The help I can get in the tyre department, no point in scrimping and having to
Push for half a day with no sidewall....probably another reason why I tend to
Stick with Surly tyres, excellent reliability for me so far ( Cue catastrophic
Sidewall incident ) though they only have one 27.5 tyre available at

The tyres Tony talks of are wire beaded. WTB don't appear to list them as an aftermarket tyre (in fact they don't seem to mention them anywhere at all), which leads me to believe they may be diverted OE stock ... not that it matters much. That's a great price if it still stands,I can get the 'tough' ones for about £39,

I've one on the front of the Fatfish - so far so good, grip is much better than other B+ tyres so far, and it conforms well. Still playing with pressures, but it's not as confidence inspiring as the Mountain King2 2.4 that is my normal go to 29er front tyre.
