Had a trawl but couldn’t find an answer to how to mount seat packs to dropper posts.
In my head the bags going to rub on the stantion and damage it. Or the dropper won’t drop either due to bag hitting wheel or the bag attaching will prevent the stantion from sliding.
Is there a solution?

Re: Riding then walking
I’ve done that - when leaving the bike at the track end.
I usually take out the thru axles and lock the wheels to the frame.
Never had any bother even on poplar routes

I opted for a spot, because I’d rather have less contact, less messages and less faff whilst I’m away.
As long as Mrs B could see I was ok and I’d checked in once in a while then all was good

Re: Crank length
This made a lot of sense to me (see link below)
Used to ride 175 but went down to 170’s and had a good bike fit which confirmed this was my ideal length

I had exactly the same. Eventually went down gradually, but it took a few weeks.
Mine wasn’t infected, just fluid build up.
I didn’t have any pain so was able to carry on as normal

Re: Help - chainring bolts
Thanks Sean. Would like to have them tight enough that the back bit doesn’t turn and they stay put. I’ve got one of the those tools thanks but would like to leave it at home when on trips. As I already have hex’s on the mult tool I would prefer to just use those if possible. Hence why I was asking a...

Stainless is fine if used in the correct way (grade and size) and are used extensively in the marine industry and in civil engineering ...
