Re: 2022 Plans (to go with the 2021 Reflections thread)
I lost two friends/family members to Cancer this year, one just 10 days ago, wanting to do something to raise money for Caner research, thinking Devon Coast to Coast, great way to motivate me and get some money for a fine cause, no other plans yet.

A cold night out
While I may not be doing the BAM this year I have finally managed to get out, it has been nearly six months since my list trip out and it was desperately needed, I have decided to start blogging my rides and trip once again, something I used to do quite a bit but being off the bike for a number of y...

Re: bikepacking with a mirrorless camera ...what lenses do you take?
I currently use a 35mm (53mm) f2 on my Fuji XT10, I find this a little bulky and I will be swapping to a wider 18mm (27mm) f2 pancake lens, I would not use either of my zooms/XT3 as they are a bit too bulky, I have considered just selling my XT10 and picking up a used Fuji F100 something as they are...

I thought it was bonkers too initially, but on a very fouled up hub it works pretty well (as advised by my predecessor)

Re: Rohloff users. oil change question.
Oil change 101, full 25ml of flush in, cycle through all the gears for a few mins with longer periods spent in the direct drive gears, drain it out thoroughly, put just 15ml back into the hub, the full 25ml is only used if you have bought a non OEM hub off the shelf as they are supplied with no oil ...
