Re: Hate to bring it up again but ...
Well I can safely say all year I’ve done my best to stay within the rules without wrapping myself in cotton wool and I’ve still managed to catch it , but I wouldn’t dream of going to a rural area and spreading what ever I’ve got without knowing it , none of the family would have realised that we had...

IMPORTANT UPDATE IN THESE COVID TIMES. That although some of us will at this time be swinging a leg over a fully loaded bike to ride our VWE, even if we are kipping in the back garden. PLEASE NOTE That if Covid restriction (such as they are in Wales) prevent you riding as you would feel comfortable...

Achieved the same as Stu this year ,
Next year work needs to be reeled back by quite a bit and get out on the bike , finally get my lad to Thailand for his Thai boxing camp for a few months , open his horizons a bit before working life starts for him

Re: What are your feelings about next year?
Was thinking about wrt the other day and I may be a bit sceptical but I do truly believe august bank holiday would be the best chance of it going ahead , I can see the next 6 months of tiers being upped and downed every month as I don’t believe any one government will be able to get a handle on it p...

I’ve just never seen the pint in having fire when we’re not really supposed to be kipping where we do it’s just saying look I’m here and doing something I really shouldn’t be and leaving a dirty mess on the ground The worst I’ve seen was right outside Nant Rhys Bothy last year when myself and the yo...

Re: Let’s talk torque
Cylinder heads bolts up till the angle torque then comes out the 1” drive air gun and tipex for the angle torque , only ever used one on a bike once and that was because my crank arm kept falling off , it still did after using a torque wrench

Re: How often do you rebuild/change?
Only when things break , playing with spanner’s all day (which I do enjoy) means I get very little enjoyment out of tinkering with the bike , in my eyes it’s there to get me away from spannering and not encourage it.I should really do a bit of preventative maintenance once a year though

Dave I’m overweight, and smoke like a old Diesel engine but as Stu says you get used to it , I tend to spend 14hrs a day outside mauling with trucks and trailers , I’m just getting to the age though if I’m knelt down or try to get up off the old crawler board I need assistance from my hands and arms...

Now come on Duncan it’s only 3 pegs needed at Easter (yes I know if your religious it’s in very bad taste)pistonbroke wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:19 pm Now one of those with a pee flap would be the perfect thing for us cross incontinents.
Or possibly bundled with a set of Ti pegs for the perfect Easter pressie.(too soon?)

Welcome buddy , had a helium for a couple of years and loved it plenty of room inside with your mat in there to be able to slide out of you riding gear (and I’m quite a stout lad) . Couldn’t get on with a hunka xl with my mat inside just found it too constricted, so haven’t bothered to try a Kloke a...
