May have to pass this month due to a bereavement, and the time it's taking for the hospital to release her + trying to arrange a funeral here is bad enough but have to also arrange a mass back in Ireland , bloody mother in law ,was as awkward in life as she is in death

If you want the stealth rubber sole off the 5:10s have a look at the addidas terrex same sole but a mesh shoe so dry out much quicker ,and their about £30 cheaper if you have a shop around

Not really plenty of hills or anywhere exciting but planning on riding up the Walsall canal over the chase meeting a few lads at birches valley then a few miles on the more natural side of the chase then back home down the staffs canal with a pub stop or two , should be about 70 miles all in or at m...

Well tools are put away ,tool box locked and wagons leaving the depot ,roll on 6 in the morning I'm off for 20 days so I can put the info I've gleamed off here to some good use , happy new year and thanks for the suggestions on kit I had off yous :-bd

As this will be my first year bikepacking I'm gonna have to give this a go , I'm pretty lucky work wise as I work 4on 4off so if I do come up with a " a lack of time this month" excuse , you are more more than welcome to publicly reprimand me as sometimes extra motivation maybe needed

R.i.p ,besides joining the forum for much needed information as just starting out with the bikepacking lark , I do tend to look for your posts they do have me chuckling ,they remind me of my uncle who loves to have a ramble about everything ( he also reminds me of father jack drink feck drink)
