Re: Wtd: alpkit cloud cover or similar.
Fair advice norm. Ill be honest - i dithered over that enlightened quilt the other day- trying to decide wether to just get a pipedream 250 for a summer bag or a quilt........... So much so someone else snapped it up- im not surprised tbh it was a good price. I was in a similar dilemma and went for...

Re: Genesis High Latitude (2015)
I've ordered one tonight, bargain! The frame arrived, along with a large box of stop and go bits. The parts I'm recycling for the build are clean and ready. I've got a headset on order and wheels being built at the LBS. I'm waiting for forks, pedals and bars from different suppliers and I'll need t...

Genesis High Latitude (2015)
Anyone got a High Latitude?
I'm considering building up a frameset as a rigid bike-packer/mountain bike but reviews seem pretty scarce.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Alfine 11 Feedback
Thanks guys for the feedback, all of what has been posted pretty much mirrors my experience on using my 8 speed hub, though not the personal interfaces with the headset thankfully. After posting I found the lower ratios are the same on both the 8 and 11 speed hubs and the extra gears are gained at t...

Alfine 11 Feedback
Are the more recent Alfine 11 hubs more reliable now, anyone have any real world user feedback? I have an 8 speed set up I had built up as the 11s units were reportedly pretty unreliable when they were first released but could do with more gears. Anyone actually using a 11speed one for bike packing?...

Re: Best Ever Saddle
I find SDG Bel Air to be comfortable for me. Specialized offer saddles in various widths to suit you and you can be measured up to suit. Lots of people recommend the Charge Spoon. Alternatively get a Brooks leather saddle and put up with the discomfort whilst you mould it to your shape. Decent short...

Re: WTD: Ragley Carnegie
Thanks very much for the offer, but I need 31.8mm diameter and a bit more sweep than the Fleegle offers. (The Carnegie is 25-degree vs 15 of the Fleegle.) If I can't get hold of any flat Carnegie bars, I'll probably just have to buy an OG bar and live with the rise. No worries, good luck looking :-)

SOLD Large Salsa Fargo F&F, Hope headset, XT 9Spd Front Mech
I have a large Fargo F&F I want to move on, It has a black Hope Headset fitted and a Shimano XT 9 Spd front mech. It is in good condition overall having been used very little. There is some marking of the seat tube from where the front mech fits. I'd think it's been like this since I built it up...
