Anyone interested?

Green and pretty much unused it seems!

Hi,

How much would these be for second hand? I would be interested if the price was right.

Cheers,

Scottish Coast to Coast?

Two years ago I did a C2C from Dundee to Oban return on the road bike and fancy trying it off road combined with bike packing. I did think something like Kyle of Lochalsh would be a good starting point for 3 reasons (It is on the west coast!, it means I can go west to east with the prevailing winds,...

Re: Waterproof jacket recommendations?

I use a dhb event jacket for road, commute and mountain bike. Great jacket - keeps water out and lets vapour out - I have been bone dry working hard in some serious downpours and I am a fairly heavy sweater! No pockets and no hood version though. I think they normally retail around 100 - 110 but oft...

Re: Winter sleeping bag?

OK, who's played a funny trick with the internet. I can't find any AK sleeping bags on the site :? And sleeping mats were a bit hidden, took a few clicks to find those. I read somewhere, probably facebook, that AK are out of stock of sleeping bags so they have not yet listed them on the site due to...

Re: Sleeping bag in saddle bag stuffing?

Sea to Summit do some good compression dry bags - just like a dry bag and a sleeping bag stuff sack in one.

I tend to use one of them strapped direct to the handle bars but I do plan to get a handlebar harness of some kind.

Also the new teeny totty gas stove from Alpkit - https://www.alpkit.com/products/kraku

Excited about how light and small this stove is. Unfortunately still needs a comparatively mahoosive canister to use it : (

I went to the Glasgow Velodrome at the start of the year. It was really good fun but I was not prepared for the angle of the track, it lookes STEEP when you are standing in the middle getting ready to go on. The first time I went up the track I was bricking it a little but after you realise that gra...

Re: Inner tubes... near the valve

I had this problem with two tubes in a row where the valve base came away from the tube - about 50% of the weld / join!

Both were continental - can not remember the model but it does 26x 2.2 with Schraeder.

A new BJJ Gi, mine is getting a bit tatty.

If you want bike related, probably an Alpkit frame bag.

Handlebar Harness Advice

Thanks to one of the forum members I have my back end (teehee) luggage sorted with a WCG Tiger. So now my mind is turning to the front end. I currently use a couple of sea-to-summit compression dry bags a 20Lt and a 10Lt. My first ride I had the 20 on the back and the 10 on the front. I changed this...

WTD: Wildcatgear Tiger (Large Size)

I am on the verge of buying one of these but thought I would post up to see if anyone wants to get rid of one.

A bit of muck or wear is fine but it has to be fully functional.

Please PM if you do have one you want to sell.

I think there's some fairly extensive stuff on the CD :? Cheeky, you are correct. I only got mine about 4 weeks ago so recent enough to remember all you need to know about saving and resetting the tracklog is on the CD. Unfortunately, as Cheeky said it is fairly intuitive once you know, to the poin...

Revelate is about to launch the 'terapin' Eric's take on the idea of the wildcat 'Tiger' but it will be bigger and come with it's own dry bag. don't know a price yet. With reference to an earlier post, you don't have to run the UK customs gauntlet to buy Revelate designs. As it's available in the U...

The shaped Airlok Xtra might make a great MYOG seat pack with a little bit of work. I hope they offer them in black and in a few different sizes. Have you seen the alpkit bikepack luggage video? Get a pack of 10 stickers - 5 for light and 5 for dark frames for 10 squid.
