I had to double-check the day there, I'm very much still on the right hand side of this diagram.

In cheery news, I'm getting MORE CHEESE delivered today.

I'm off to Glencoe in the campervan.
Fireside pints, hill walking and sledging down the ski slopes.

Am in a good mood!

It'll be somewhat icy so your challenge is to reach the A82 from the top of the ski centre!

No but I could do with one - not sure if it could shift a load of bike tyres though - more likely gnaw holes in them...

The cheery news is it's not raining and I've managed to remove the faulty (totally jammed) ignition barrel from the van - don't you just love sheer bolts, especially when they're fitted in a confined space and recessed :-bd

Made up some custom water for brewing coffee with and brewed some coffee. East Angular water is utterly poor show. My life will never be the same again, yet another rabbit hole to disappear down and spend a ridiculous amount of money on. Oh, and more coffee beans turned up... 😬

Get thee up tae Fife, Bob. Highland Spring water out of my tap!

Cheery here now, relaxing after a three and a half hour bike ride round various frozen trails. Annoyingly I've an indoor daytime commitment tomorrow and Sunday (music stuff) so may head out for another night ride tomorrow evening and head for the high hills.

Customised water? Now that's the ultimate yuppie accessory  . I wonder if Trailshotted sheepshite water off a Welsh hillside counts as customised? .

When I was up between Xmas and New Year, the coffee was noticeably dead when using the lovely soft water out of the tap at my folks. You need some minerals, just not as many as I have down here...

I could send you some of ours Bob - straight out of the ground it is, no filters, additives or sweeteners. Given the geology, it must have plenty of mineral content and possibly some heavy metal too but I figure that'll sink to the bottom of your mug

I hope not, although it might explain the continual desire to run to the hills.

I'm sure some will poke fun at this, but whenever I go somewhere with hard water, I'm reminded how lucky we are to have such good water straight out of the tap, and that I could never live anywhere that doesn't. I'm not surprised at all you've resorted to MYOW!

Cheery because after some time, the sun has finally hit the yard. That might not sound like much but having the sun return to the Towers is something of a special moment each year :-bd

Also, I'm building Teapot the owl a new house and it's coming on nicely :-bd

Well I've finished work early, turned some bobbins out of nylon for a turbo trainer so it fits my bike, never used one before but I broke my ankle 4 weeks ago today so am hoping to give it a spin at the weekend as not riding for this long is terrible, so mostly cheery :-bd

Blimey, and I thought you meant a barn owl. Wouldn't like to mess with him / her....
And speaking of which, up into the woods this eve for January's BAM, hoping I don't get flattened by a falling tree (more high winds coming) plus hoping I hear lots of Owls as usual. So cheery for me (I hope)

He looks like someone's just confiscated his last bit of cake or something.

So does the owl come to that.
